Dear Residents of Piedmont,
At the Piedmont Golf Club, we have experienced a rash of
Vandalism lately
on the golf course. The restrooms have taken much abuse
these past couple
of weeks along with the green on 17 and hole no. 18. We have
lost a flag
and flag pole, red hazard stakes and out of bounds stakes
and one evening
there was a party on the ballroom patio.
We are asking all Members and Residents who live around the
course and may
hear or see some late night activity to please call the
police. We have
installed motion detector lights at the bathrooms now and
have put locks on
the doors.
Remember walking, running, skateboarding and pets are not
allowed on the
Golf course at anytime. We appreciate your help in abiding
by these rules.
If you do see any extra curricular activity on the course at
night we ask
you to contact the
police immediately. If we do catch anyone the club will
prosecute.
Thank you for your support,
The Staff at the Piedmont Club |

Dear Residents of Piedmont:
While we want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy the Club, we
want to remind you that our golf course can be a dangerous place for
those on and around it. Heavy equipment is operated on the golf
course on a daily basis and chemical treatments are applied
sporadically both in and out of season to maintain the turf.
Additionally, even the most skilled golfer can hit an errant shot
where a golf ball can travel at both a high rate of speed and out of
control. Consequently, the golf course is “posted” as private
property for the protection of all involved.
For you and your family’s safety, it is imperative to remember the
following guidelines:
Please avoid from participating in recreational activities on the
golf course. Jogging, walking, skateboarding, bike riding and any
other means of transportation are not permitted on the golf course
or the cart paths to protect you and your family from harm.
· Please do not allow children to play on or near the golf course.
· Please do not walk dogs on the course.
· Please do not fish in the ponds or water hazards.
Please remember that everyone must register at the Pro Shop, before
entering onto the course for play or to ride with a player at all
times. Practice on the golf course is only permitted if taking a
playing lesson with a professional from our staff. No one is allowed
on the golf course when the club is closed which includes
after-hours and on Tuesdays.
Additionally, it is our hope that all players will respect the proud
tradition that golf is a game for ladies and gentlemen. We expect
all players to exercise the appropriate level of respect and
courtesy whenever they enter any resident’s property to retrieve a
golf ball. An apology following an errant shot is just as important
as a loud “fore” when it is apparent that it is off course. Even
though each homeowner has signed a covenant that holds the Club
harmless of any liability, we do expect any player whose ball hits a
house to meet with the homeowner to offer to cover the cost of any
damage.
The golf course property is designated both with white boundary
stakes and survey pins. Please do not alter any terrain or cut grass
on golf course property without the express written consent of the
owner of the Piedmont Club or its designated representative.
Abiding by these rules and guidelines can contribute to both the
safety and enjoyment of the course for everyone through the golf
season.
